Camping Viora is a small rustic campsite in northern Italy in the Piedmont region. It is a minicamping with 10 pitches, situated in a rural setting in the hills of the Alta Langa, surrounded by nature, far from the crowds. The pitches are very spacious and overlook the valley with the Alpi Marittime (sea Alps) in the background. It is “basic” camping here with basic facilities. The pitches are situated on terraces and only suitable for tents. This region is not yet overrun by tourists so you can experience Italy as it really is.
Camping Viora, 10 beautiful big pitches, a great view, clean sanitary facilities and tranquility. That's all we have to offer. Basic camping on a farm in southern Piedmont in a natural environment. Italian enjoyment of the good life.
The pitches all measure 90-100 m2 and are spread over several terraces. Most places have shade from a tree and all places have a pergola with shade cloth. All pitches have electricity, but you must bring your own cable. Most pitches have a nice view of the mountains. Cars cannot be parked on the pitch.
The pitches are for tents only. There is no place for a campervan, caravan or car with rooftop tent. The campsite is car-free, but there is of course the possibility to load and unload at your pitch upon arrival or departure. Cars or motorcycles may not be parked on the terraces near your tent. They must be parked at the top of the hill at the beginning of the campsite in the parking lot.
Our campground offers some basic amenities such as clean washrooms (with toilets, showers and dishwashing sinks), water taps, power hookups and separate waste. There is also a washing machine, possibility to freeze cooling elements, wi-fi access (not on site) and a cottage with information leaflets and some loaner books. There are no facilities such as a swimming pool, store, separate barbecue place, bread service, restaurant, bar, and so on.
It consists of a separate room with 1 WC, 1 shower and 1 sink. A separate room with WC and small sink and a room with only a shower. Outside there is a sink, possibility to wash feet and 2 places to wash dishes. Toilet paper, soap or other hygiene products and towels are not provided. In busy times you have to wait a little bit for a free spot.
For the bikepacker looking for a place to spend the night and continue his route after one or two days, we always have a place available. Please make sure you have done your shopping before coming here, as we have no restaurant, shop or bar at the campsite. A message in advance of your arrival would be appreciated to provide any necessary clarifications and avoid disappointment.
The road to the campsite, asphalted since 6 years, is easily accessible.
